Ahh the smell of Spring is in the air. Freshly cut grass, tulips starting to bloom.. It seems to have everyone excited, even the birds are chirping! This time of year always gives me the itch to get out and get somewhere warm, Pronto! Thankfully I don’t live to far from Southern California! A quick 1-2 day roadtrip, and I’m there and ready to take in the sunshine, play in the ocean, and live life like its finally summer again!

Speaking of Road Trips, ever wondered what to wear? I know when it comes to planning a quick road trip, there is so much involved, the outfits tend to go way side, especially when it comes to what you’ll be wearing for the actual drive. I know in the past I’ve just thrown on some jeans and a tee and ran out the door, but you forget about all the stops you’ll be making all day long, (fuel, food, driving breaks, rest stops, scenic views!) and really, that’s part of the fun of the road trip! So don’t do like I’ve done in the past, and NOT put any thought into your look, then suddenly feel awkward and embarrassed on all of the stops along the way.

I’ve put together a fun spring outfit perfect (and Comfy!) for the long drive ahead! I love that mint is making a comeback again this spring, and I’ve mixed in a fun palette of mint and white. A white day dress tends to be totally overlooked, but is so comfortable for a long drive and so incredibly chic! White always looks classic and flawless! Just be sure to take heed if you will be eating in the car while driving, you don’t want to get out of the car at the next fuel stop only to notice you have chocalate from that yummy Milky Way smeared across the front of your dress.

I also love pairing the dress with a cute mint jacket when going from cooler weather to warmer weather. Its edgy feel totally plays nice with a super feminine summer dress by toughening up the look a bit. And let’s of course not forget incredibly comfortable but totally gorgeouls white lace wedges. They make a statement but will keep your feet comfortable whether you be in the car or when walking around those busy tourist traps!

Lastly, top it off with some cute jewelry that will show you put some thought into your look. I love this cute butterfly statement necklace and elegant mint faux leather watch.
