If you suffer from anxiety, you can probably relate to the feeling of not being able to turn your brain off, which results in not being able to get a good night’s sleep and having trouble focusing during the day.

One in thirteen people around the world live with an anxiety disorder, making that the most common mental health disorder worldwide, according to the world health organization (WHO) and that number has probably doubled by now.

Quick-acting anti-anxiety medication, such as Xanax and Valium, may offer instant relief, but can become addictive and often come with side effects. This is where CBD comes in: a plant-based alternative for anxiety.

1. CBD oil

CBD Oil is known to boost mood almost immediately! It’s proven to show significant improvement in depression, anxiety and inflammation, which is the core issue of many diseases, including depression.

Other hacks:

1.Exercising

We know that exercise is good for our physical health, but research has also found that low levels of physical activity are associated with anxiety.

It doesn’t matter how far you run, or if you run or walk fast or do both, being outside in the fresh air produces oxygen and endorphins which will reduce anxiety. When you have a lot on your mind, cardio like walking or running can help you take your mind off the anxiety.

Take a break from the stressors in life and be in the moment with yourself, the air you breathe, and the world around you. They say “you never regret a workout” that couldn’t be more true. You always feel better and energized, ready to make those decisions you have been dragging to make.

Anti-anxiety recipes

Did you know that walnuts are named the # 1 anti-anxiety food?

Walnut & Hazelnut butter

Ingredients:

2 cups of Walnuts

1 Cup of Hazelnuts

1/2 tsp Salt

Method

Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C).

Spread the Walnuts and the Hazelnuts on a baking sheet, sprinkle with sea salt, and roast in the oven for 8 to 10 minutes, until they begin to brown.
