A Powerful Serum that Packs a Serious Punch: Freya Intensive Anti-Aging Serum Review

**I received this product from Freya and the Mommerce Community free of charge for the purpose of review.

I’m normally a super rich, thick, night cream kind of girl. But lately my skin has been oilier and I’ve found that I don’t seem to need such a heavy night cream lately, so I’ve started using a serum day and night and depending on how good the serum is. As we all know, some of them are not quite moisturizing enough and will leave your face feeling dry and flaky, so a night cream is typically needed.

I recently got to try the Freya Skincare Intensive Anti-Aging Serum, and have been nothing short of impressed. I don’t always use serums as I find that when doubled with a night cream, it’s just too much for my skin, and I like the anti-aging benefits found in most night creams. I loved that the Freya Serum has anti-aging properties much like you find in that expensive night cream.

The Freya skincare line is a result of 30 years of research, developed by scandinavian scientists who came across a very potent and effective anti-aging ingredient, LEXA. This ingredient when combined with Omega 3’s and Arctic antioxidants (found in Freya products), helps deliver anti-aging results at the cellular level, where it will be most beneficial to the skin.

This powerful little serum helps to rebuild the skin, minimize the appearance of fine lines, as well as improves skin tone, texture, and helps create a more softer and smoother surface.

I used my Freya Intensive Anti Aging serum both day and night for maximum results. I loved that this serum was so moisturizing on its own, I didn’t use a day or night cream on top of it. And when used daily with my heavy acne-fighting lotion, this wonderful serum STILL left my skin moisturized and not dry in the least! I almost never see this in my skincare routine. Anyone who suffers from acne knows that the products used to fight it are going to dry up your skin like mad! Normally, If I just use a serum with it, I tend to get the dreaded lizard-like, desert skin, but not with my Freya Serum. It left my skin extremely well moisturized and left me absolutely no need for a night or day cream!

And for those of us with skin more on the oily side, sometimes the heavy creams can be totally frightening. I love that although this serum packs some serious moisture, it’s still light and rubs right into the skin,  and is the typical consistency you would expect to find in most serums. And as you can guess with this serum being so moisturizing, it is suitable for all skin types.

I used my serum for 2 weeks and loved that my skin felt smooth, soft, more vibrant, and my blemishes improved too.

Overall I absolutely loved using my Freya Intensive Anti-Aging Serum and am so excited to try more products from this truly innovative skin care line. My skin look and feels amazing, and certainly better than it did 2 weeks ago before I started using my Freya Serum.

  1. I have never used any serum. I kind of the throw on some basic moisturizer girl and go. But, the older I get, the more I realize I need to start taking better care of my skin. I’ll have to look in to getting some and testing it out for myself.

  2. I must use a serum every night. I’m still looking for the “right” one. I’ll check this out further. I think it’s important to use especially when you’re in your 50’s

  3. I also suffer from adult acne, so I really appreciate hearing how your skin reacts with the products you review. I hate spending a lot of money on something I can’t even use, because it won’t work with my oily, acne-prone skin.

  4. I like knowing about all the great products I could try to make my skin nice! I’ve never heard of this product but I do like serums. sounds like something I’d love!
