A Yummy, healthier Cocktail, Perfect for Summer: Vita Frute by Veev Cocktail Review

Warm weather is here, and most of us could use a nice cool down from the heat. When warmer weather arrives, it’s always got me venturing from my standard wine to something a little more fun for summer. After all, wouldn’t we all rather be lying on the beach with a fruit cocktail in our hand, instead of sitting inside with a bottle of red.
I don’t venture out much when it comes to alcohol, I kind of just stick with my favorites, but when I recently tried out the Vita Frute Cocktails by Veev, I was instantly hooked.
This vodka comes in some of the yummiest flavors such as Pina Colada, Cosmo, Margherita, and lemonade (all the perfect summer drinks) and uses better ingredients such as acai, all natural coconut water and pineapple juice, like what you will find in the Pina Colada I got to try out here. It is also distilled from winter wheat.
I normally stay away from Vodka’s because most of the time they can be too harsh, at least for me. I like alcohol to not taste like alcohol, so that usually means mixing in lots of sugary, not so good for me sodas. I love that the Vita Frute is so smooth, you don’t need to mix it with anything, and you get no harsh alcohol taste with it either.
When I opened up my Vita Frute by Veev, Pina Colada, I just poured it into my glass, and took a quick sip right away. I was delighted with the yummy coconut flavor you pick up right away, and then a little bit of the pineapple. In fact, even just opening up the cap and smelling it, you don’t smell alcohol, but get an exotic whiff of coconut, which then immediately made me picture lying on the beach with that pina colada in my hand.
It’s so smooth, I drank mine like a wine with my black and pinto bean tostada for dinner. 

This is such a great drink for summer, and actually all year long, since it’s such a smooth vodka, and uses healthier, natural ingredients you won’t find in other spirits. It is super easy to serve since too you don’t need to mix it with anything.

At only 125 calories per serving, it’s great for those of us who would like to have a few care-free summer drinks without worrying about not fitting back into our bikinis we worked so hard all year to get into!
