Andrea Lashes Review

If you’re looking for something a bit more dramatic for an evening look, but aren’t looking to spend a lot of money, then false eyelashes are the perfect way to amp up your look for only a couple of bucks!

If you’re like me, then false eyelashes may tend to scare you, after all, how in the world do you even apply those things?! I’ve tried a few in my day but hate when people say to me, are you wearing fake eyelashes?” So I have to admit, I haven’t warn any in years because I feel like I just get called out on my “fakeness” when I wear them.
Enter Andrea Lashes… I got four pair to try out from the lovely ladies of Andrea Lashes, and couldn’t wait to see if my feelings about false eyelashes had changed.

The first pair I got to try out were the #45. I trimmed a bit at the end of both lashes to get a better horizontal fit. I applied a dot of glue to my hand, ran the lashes through the glue and waited about 30 seconds for the glue to get a bit tacky before applying. I then applied and was surprised how easy they attached to my eyelashes. I had to adjust them a bit to get them to line up as closely to my lash line as possible but it went surprisingly fast! I then added some black liner to the inside of my upper eyelashes to make the lash line appear more smooth.
I loved the look right away. These lashes were fun. They are certainly a bit more dramatic and look a little more on the false line, but I had fun with these anyway. I actually wore them all day to do yard work of all things, then into the evening for dinner and movie with my husband. I wanted to test the staying power. I was happily amused to see that the lashes lasted all day and all evening without budging. They held on tightly and the corners didn’t come up at all like I’ve had happen with other lashes in the past.
The second pair I tried were #28. I LOVED this pair right away. They are dark, thick, full, and very dramatic. Once again, they went on with ease and stayed on with no problem at all. I wore them out for the evening and no one asked me if I was wearing falsies! Yay!! I felt super sexy in these lashes. They were the perfect addition to my evening makeup.
This set is #83. These were a little more thin and not as thick as the eyelashes above but they look more natural. I wore these all day and all night again, not something I would normally do, but I felt like these were subtle enough to get away with during the day. Once again, no one called me out on my falsies, and they stayed on strong all day and all night!
This last pair are #33S and come with the self adhesive already added to the lashes! A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!! I loved that I could just pull these out of the box and apply straight to my lashes. It took less than a minute to apply and I felt like they were on good and tight. I LOVED the look of these lashes. They were also super thick and full and looked very dramatic. I wore these all evening and was nervous the corners would start to come up on these, but they held strong. I was super impressed and especially loved how easily they came off. I didn’t have to pull off any excess glue! Although with the other Andrea lashes, I rarely had that problem either. There was only one set I went a little crazy on the glue, and had to use makeup removed to get all the glue off at the end of the night.
Overall I was very impressed with these lashes. They are fun, flirty, dramatic, but without looking totally obvious that they are falsies. They were easy to apply and stayed on all day and all night with no problem. I highly recommend theses lashes to anyone looking for a more dramatic evening look with out having to spend a lot of cash. You can pick these beauties up at Walgreens for just a couple of bucks. I plan on using mine in the near future and I plan on picking up more of the lashes that come with the self-adhesive already built in! Loved them!!
