Get Healthier Looking and Feeling Hair: Rusk Thermal Flat Iron Spray Review + GIVEAWAY

I love my heated styling tools, but boy do I hate the damage they can do to my hair! My flat iron in particular! I have naturally dry, thick, dull, frizzy hair, and I have to use a super high heat setting on my flat iron to get my hair super straight. I actually rarely use my flat iron for this reason because it makes me nervous using such a high temperature, especially when my hair is already damaged enough as it is!
Rusk Thermal Flat Iron Spray is giving me the confidence to use my flat iron again without worrying about damage being done to my hair. This amazing micro fine mist contains silicones and UVB sunscreens that work together to protect the hair from your flat iron and other heated styling tools. Not only that, but it will also give you shinier, smoother, softer hair too! It also has Pure Argan Oil, so it will leave your hair feeling much more moisturized as well!
It’s super easy to use. You just blow-dry your hair or let it air dry, then while you’re waiting for your flat iron to warm up, spray the thermal spray lightly all over you hair, and don’t forget to spray underneath! If you have super thick, long hair like I do, you can also spray in layers (when pulling your hair out of your clip before straightening.) Let it dry for a quick second on your hair, then straighten away! You’ll find you won’t even need to use product after straightening, this thermal spray will leave your hair so silky and smooth!
The spray is super light and doesn’t feel heavy or thick on the hair. A little also goes a long way so don’t feel the need to spray on too heavy!

You can see here what a great shine using my Rusk Thermal Flat Iron spray gave my hair! I didn’t use any other product on my hair besides some conditioning product I used on my wet hair, right out of the shower (which I always use on my dry hair). Once my hair was straightened, I was ready to walk out the door. I usually use a shine spray before leaving the house but with my Rusk Thermal Spray, I didn’t even need to it! It left my hair so shiny! It also felt so much smoother and softer when I ran my fingers through it!
I’m completely in love with this thermal spray from Rusk and I will certainly be using it with every heated styling tool I have! I’m so happy that it leaves my hair looking and feeling so much better than when I started styling, and I love the security it brings me knowing that I’m protecting my hair from the heat! Not only am I making my hair look healthier by using this amazing thermal spray, but it is also making my hair all-around healthier too!

  1. My hair has always been long & curly. A few years ago I came across an ad in the village voice from a salon in Manhattan asking for volunteers to have their hair chemically straightened using a new formaldehyde free product. I called, answered their questions in reference to my hair & they were anxious for me to come in & have it done. When I showed up for my appointment the stylist that would be working on my hair was thrilled bc my hair was almost down to my butt, curly & healthy. He took a few before pics of my hair & I filled out the paperwork. It took about 4 hours for the straightening process & the results were phenomenal! My hair was STRAIGHT! & still healthy & shiny! He took a few after pics & I was on my merry way. Since I volunteered to be a guinea pig & have my hair chemically straightened with a totally new product that they were trying out (it was called Liscio, I think) it didn’t cost me a dime but I asked out of curiosity & the stylist that worked on my hair said bc of my hair length & thickness it would’ve cost me around $600!!! He told me that the results could last up to a year & with the new Liscio hair straightening system it’ll grow out naturally, meaning my roots wouldn’t grow in curly while the rest was straight. It’s been about 3 years now & when I let my hair dry naturally it ends up being wavy, not curly. Since I prefer it straight I still blow dry & flat iron my hair but instead of it taking me 2+ hours to straighten my hair it now takes me under an hour which I don’t mind. I wash & condition my hair, apply a frizz free serum while its wet, chill out with a towel on my head while I drink my coffee, then I get to business! I apply a small amount of the Fekkai glossing cream (it’s amazing!) & spray my damp hair with a heat protectant spray & my roots with a volumizer. I blow dry my hair while running a paddle brush thru it til its about 85% dry. Then I get down to straightening with my Instyler (something else I can’t live without! ) & then I go over everything quickly with my flat iron. I know it sounds like alot of work but it’s something I do around 3 or 4 times a week.

  2. I have read so many articles or reviews about the blogger lovers but this post is in fact a
    nice post, keep it up.

  3. Changes all the time. Sometimes a couple of times a week, sometimes every other day, or I might not even straighten it for months.
    Thanks for the chance!

It depends. If it’s a week that I have alot of meetings for my kids i’ll do it about 3/4 times fully and then maybe 1or 2 touch ups in between. If it’s a non meeting week and i’m just out doing erands I do it once so it’s done and i can go quickly without looking mommy haired.. But I also love doing it for dates with the hubby
