Getting Married Soon? Beautiful DIY Flowers From Bloominous

Spring is in the air, and that means flowers right?! Well I unfortunately don’t have them blooming in my yard yet, but that doesn’t mean I can’t still have them!

I have recently come across a great website that provides easy DIY floral arrangements kits for weddings and events, or just for your home if like me you seeing fresh flowers in your kitchen just brightens your day!

Wedding season is coming though and many brides turn to DIY to save costs, but the process of researching, purchasing, and arranging florals often end up causing more stress and dollars. Recognizing this need gap, Bloominous is launched in 2014 to give brides an alternative option for DIY wedding flowers.

There are three advantages of using Bloominous for a wedding/event:

1. Save Money:
  • Brides can save anywhere from 30% to 50% off their original floral budget when shopping Bloominous!
  • Each piece is priced without the typical 300% markup from wedding florists, e.g. $5 boutonnieres, $40 centerpieces, and $50 bouquets. Don’t get caught up in the wedding spending hoopla!
2. DIY that is EASY and FUN:
  • Most DIY floral services do not send ‘prepped’ flowers, but Bloominous flowers come cut-to-order, dethorned, and trimmed, so brides save time AND money!
  • Not sure where to start? Each kit comes with step-by-step photo instructions for easy assembling within 10 to 20 minutes per piece, as well as flower care products and design tips.
3. Quality and Professional Design:
  • All collections featuring specialty flowers are designed florist with 10+ years of experience in event and floral design.
  • It’s not just the flowers—from trends to vases to favors, Bloominous designs the whole look for your inspiration, in their offerings and blog, so be sure to check them out!

This ‘florist-at-their-fingertips’ experience is not to be missed.  Bloominous is making DIY fun, easy, and approachable for anyone who wants to try. Check it out at bloominous.com.

Arranging flowers really isn’t as hard as you might think! I actually did my own for my wedding with absolutely no experience, nor had I even watched a video on how to do it or read any tips for arrangements. I just found the pretty flowers and found some cute extras from the craft store such as some long silver glittery sticks that swirled at the ends, to add to my arrangement.

I played around a bunch creating lots of different arrangements for a while until I found my pretty arrangement with blue and white flowers perfect for my wedding! I ended up making my own bouquet as well as the bouquets for my bridesmaids! I actually really ended up enjoying making them as much as seeing them on my big day! And thanks to my super tight wedding budget, I actually ended up saving quite a bit of money on my wedding this way too!

If you’re completely stunned as how to arrange some flowers or where to even start, here is a great video on YouTube that Bloominous has posted to help give you some inspiration! In fact, you can find lots of great DIY videos on their page so be sure to subscribe!

Be sure to follow Bloominous on social media to stay up date on all things floral! Like them here on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Instagram, and Pinterest.

  1. Great blog post, that bouquet looks amazing no one would have any idea that you had in fact made it yourself.
