I’ve posted some of the remodeling done to my house over the last five years, and although it’s actually been a couple of years since this Powder Room remodel was done, I think it turned out so unique and cool (and spot on for my modern taste in furniture and design) that I wanted to share it!
We completely ripped out the old ugly beige flooring in this room and had a really pretty light gray luxury vinyl put in (and throughout the whole main level). The vanity and old toilet (that often got clogged- eww!) totally had to go to! Updated with a chic small dark wood vanity I found online at WayFair, and new on-trend bowl sink, the room is starting to come to life.
I also was inspired by a design book that showed all 4 walls being tiled with a cool accent wall. So after a trip to Carpet One, I picked up some huge basic white tiles for 3 walls, and a fun black, white, silver mosaic tile for the main wall. Hello Modern!
I also found a cool mirror and some pretty new lighting also on WayFair, to top the powder room look off.
All done with the powder room, and I’m in Love!
Also, some more updates on the rest of my main level remodel, where the whole kitchen was also remodeled (excluding cabinets which were painted white). See my original Kitchen Remodel Post Here.
The new gray luxury vinyl flooring being put in throughout the main level.
Last but not least, some new furniture for the kitchen, dining room, and living room on the main level. Since my kitchen and bathroom both have a ton going on with the crazy amounts of black and white mosaic tile, I kept my furniture simple in neutrals. I also love the juxtaposition of more classic furniture styles and pieces, and the old look of this wood Dining table from Restoration hardware, against the super modern look of the kitchen and powder room.
I still have a few small decor updates to go (including getting rid of the dead Orchid), but taking a tea break to relax with Kitty (He decided to take a break t00 – from photo-bombing all my photos!)
