I love some good junk food, who doesn’t right, but I hate what it does to my body and especially how it makes me feel. Usually something along the lines of feeling very bloated, gross, and of course guilty!

So I’m always on the hunt for healthier alternatives, so I can eat some of my favorite foods but not feel the guilt!

I love hummus (especially for its pack of protein, being that I’m a vegetarian) and eat it on the regular, and of course chips are one of my favorite junk foods, so when  I saw the Simply 7 Hummus and Lentil chips, I couldn’t wait to try them! Especially once I saw all the many different yummy flavors! They have a ton to choose from for every palette!

When my chips arrived I opened the pomegranate hummus chips first. Honestly I’m not the biggest pomegranate fan in the world but for some reason these chips called to me. Once I tried them, I totally understood why they were calling to me! They are DELICIOUS! I’ve tried several other flavors in the mean time and have absolutely adored all of them!

These hummus and lentil chips pack some serious flavor. I love the small little bite size of the chip. They are light and airy, but super crunchy so your mouth and taste buds still feel like you’re eating those fatty chips, but you won’t find any greasy fingers after eating them! The flavors explode in your mouth! Also only all-natural flavors are used in this mouth-watering snack!

They are the perfect substitute for regular, fattening, over salty, greasy chips. You won’t miss the flavor at all, and you will love the huge variety of flavors. Some of my favorites were the pomegranate, sea salt, jalapeño, tomato & basil, and cracked black pepper. Best of all, these yummy baked chips will only set you back 130 calories per serving (which is about 30 chips) and only 45 fat calories. Thats a huge difference from the fat calories you will find in regular chips (Its about 40-50% more fat!)

The new year is here and I’m sure a lot of you have resolutions to eat healthier this year, work out more, or lose weight.
