Can You Get Youth in a Bottle? You Just May: Comedica Hyaluronic Acid Review

As a beauty blogger, I have learned quite a bit over the years about the skin and products and formulas that can be very beneficial to the skin. I think often times a lot of us see some big scary words written on the outside of our beauty products and wonder what exactly the heck that is. I know when I first started writing about beauty and the many wonderful beauty products out there, I felt a bit intimidated by a lot it.
Once you start diving into the world of beauty, you start to pick up on words and remember that some of these scary sounding words are actually really beneficial to the skin, and may actually already be IN your skin!
For example, hyaluronic acid. Sounds scary right? I know when I first heard of it, I was like, you want me to do what with it? Put it on my face? Something that has the word acid in it?? Seriously? But as soon as you do a little research you learn that, guess what? The skin already contains hyaluronic acid. Yep, that’s right, the skin and your whole body actually, it’s even in your eyes! In fact, your body actually contains A LOT of hyaluronic acid, and 50% of it can be found in your skin.
So you may be wondering, If I have it, why do I need more of it, especially in my skincare products? Well here is where you’re going to be lining up to buy yourself some hyaluronic acid. It’s actually found in the deep underlying dermal tissues of the skin, that keeps your skin looking younger, smoother, and gives it more elasticity. It binds to water making your skin much more moisturized, which we all know, makes it look more youthful as well. Along with all the other nasty things that come with age, like the gray hair, the achy joints, your body also starts to produce less hyaluronic acid, and in turn makes you look and probably feel older too.
Now you see why you would be wanting to add this ingredient to your skin, right? I know when I read that,  I was thinking to myself, yep, I’m totally on board with applying some acid to my face now, as long as its hyaluronic acid.
I recently got to try out Comedica Hyaluronic Acid Serum, and after reading up on the benefits, I couldn’t wait to see what it could for my skin. As you now know, this serum is hydrating, and offers a lot of anti-aging benefits with continued use, such as lightening up sun spots, and making it more soft and supple as well. It also makes your skin more resilient to the environment and aging.

When I opened up my Comedica Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum, I put a couple drops on my fingers and then patted it over my face. I found I only needed 2 drops max, and that was plenty to leave my skin feeling well moisturized. I was especially surprised to see how well it really did moisturize. I have pretty dry skin naturally, and I almost always have to use a cream over my serum, because serum’s are rarely ever moisturizing enough to use on their own. I should have know this serum would be different though, considering hyaluronic acid holds up to a whopping 1000 times its weight in water. You feel it as soon as you use it. My skin felt soft and smooth, and I went to reach for my night cream, and was like, no, I don’t think I need it this time. And I actually haven’t for the whole 2 weeks I’ve been trying out this product.

I use my Comedica Pure Hyaluronic Acid Serum every day after washing my face. I’ve loved that my skin has felt so soft during use, and that I have noticed my skin also feels more supple and much more moisturized then normal, especially considering how much time I spend outside in the drying sun this time of year.

I kept a good eye on my skin while using this as well too, because this time of year no doubt brings on the sun spots for me. It doesn’t matter how well I keep my face sun screened up and wear my big sunglasses and wide brim sun hat to keep the sun off my face. I find those sun spots creeping up in the early summer and then by the middle of summer there are new ones popping up almost daily. I know this time of year is when I really need to break out the hyaluronic serum and apply it religiously to diminish those sun spots and help stop the new ones from popping up.

I really put this serum to the test considering it’s the middle of summer and my face has completely turned into a million freckles and unfortunately has some really ugly big sun spots too, but while using this serum, I have definitely noticed a change. My skin has lightened up a bit over the last few weeks and a lot of the bigger, more noticeable sun spots have started to fade, and quite dramatically actually.

I absolutely will not go another summer without my Comedica Hyaluronic Acid Serum. I spend a lot of time in the sun, because I can’t help it. I’m addicted to it, but I do my best to keep my skin protected and this serum at least makes it look like I don’t spend that much time in the sun. I’ve been more then happy with my results and would recommend it to anyone in their thirties or older, because let’s face it, we all have nasty sun spots by this point. Even if you’re in you’re 20s, this is a great product to start using anyway to keep that skin looking and feeling healthy and young for as long as possible. I actually got my first sun spots in my late 20’s so I would have really appreciated this serum back then too!

If you would like to get your glow back and fade some of those nasty sun spots, then do your self a favor and pick up the Comedica Pure Hylarunoic Acid Serum today. Why wouldn’t you do this for yourself when its only $11 anyway? Yeah, how often do you find effective skincare that inexpensive? Uh huh, just about never.

Happy Beautifying!

*I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
