10 Criteria for Choosing a Quality Handbag
By Ramiro Encizo

1. You’ve wanted it “forever” (this can be two weeks or two years). Just do it!
Oscar Wilde said that the only way to get rid of temptation is to yield to it.

2. Comfort. Many of my clients complain that some of their other handbags,
although beautiful, are a pain to carry. Light is a’ight!

3. Do you like attention? Does it matter to you that your handbags have COACH
COACH COACH all over or are you comfortable enough with yourself to carry
something a little more discreet and elegant. There’s no right answer, if you
love yourself some LV’s and Gucci G’s –go for it!

4. Where was it made? Always ask, Italian, French and American goods are
excellent.

5. If you’re going for Croc or Alligator, back scales are gross. It’s the cheaper
part of the reptile and you will probably pay the same amount as a bag made
with the belly.

6. What’s the inside like? If you are spending a small fortune on a handbag, day
or evening… you should opt for leather or kidskin lining. It’s an elegant detail
and it’s much easier to wipe a lipstick stain off calfskin than canvas.

7. It’s all about the experience, right? Don’t buy a bag from a salesperson with a
bad ‘tude. Quality handbag and accessories companies usually try to employ
enthusiastic salespeople and they make a huge effort to educate them on
how the bag was made/materials used etc. It’s always such a joy to shop with
someone who loves the product just as much as you do.

8. If you were to join the Spice Girls… you would be Enviable Spice! Exclusivity
and rarity are priceless characteristics for handbags. One of a Kind handbags
are the ultimate gift, make him buy it or buy it yourself and explain to him
that you too are One of a Kind.

9. “Negate Taupe” –Chloe Sevigny(not the real one)

10. Keep in mind that it’s an investment.
