Spring Ready Ladies! It’s Time To Glam It Up

Spring Ready Ladies! It's Time To Glam It Up

It is Spring, at last! The days are longer; the nights are shorter and best of all, it is getting warmer. You may not have a huge budget to overhaul your wardrobe, but it is the greatest time of the year to get organized and add a few new fashion staples to your life.

Before we get started, though, let’s talk about you. This year why not nail any body issues you have had? You don’t need to go on a crash diet or change the way you look dramatically, just think about making the most of what you have got. You probably feel a little pale than you would like to be, so invest in a great fake tan such as SiennaX. You can then bare your legs in confidence. Update your skincare routine too, a good exfoliation and tons of moisturizer will help dull and lackluster skin start to look a little more glowing. You could also get with the hair exfoliation trend. Using a sugar based scalp scrub, this treatment could boost your locks and give you Kate Middleton hair! That is a look we all could do with. Tidy up the areas you neglected over winter and then move forward to a little wardrobe revamp.

As it is spring, we are in the perfect season to bust out the dress.  You may be one of the many girls who hates wearing dresses, and the thought of it make you cringe. However, there are so many styles out there now that there surely has to be one to fit your style, let’s take a look at some of the options.

One of the best crossover dresses which can be worn throughout the seasons is the super cool denim dress. Denim has been in the fashion world since 1950, and most of us own at least one pair of jeans. The denim dress looks incredible dressed up or dressed down and can be found in a number of lengths. Short it probably the easiest to wear but there are some great denim maxi dresses available on the high street.

Mix it up with tribal style or opt for a more Beyonce charm by sticking to large gold pieces and a pair of tennis shoes.  You can go bare legs, or you could throw it over leggings, tights or even a pair of white capri pants.  The denim dress also looks stunning with thigh high boots for a little extra impact; you could pull this look off during the day or the evening, so it is a brilliant dress to wear to the office on a Friday, especially if you have a group of colleagues who love a night out.  If you want to embrace the denim look without spending a fortune, check out DontPayFull.com and find yourself a bargain!

Busting out your florals is a must do in spring and one of the easiest ways to do that is in the elegant Skater dress.  This is a flattering style which works well on its own or layered up; it even looks good over leather look skinny’s.  A wedge looks stunning if you are going with the bare leg option.  As the skater dress is shorter at the front with a long, almost fishtail back, the flattering style slims your leg down and can hide your bum and thighs, not that we think you should hide them! But most of us girls like a little cover up, right? You don’t have to stick to florals, go for a solid black for real effortless chic or get up to date with your color blocking and choose a neon bright.

The ultimate spring to summer dress has to be the loose white shirt.  Don’t worry about the cleaning issues here; there are loads of brilliant cleaning products on the market now so you can keep your whites looking bright.  Team this look with bold accessories; gold is a perfect style for the white shirt dress.  A little cowboy ankle boot and a fedora will give you the ultimate laid back style, but you could chuck on some strappy sandals and go with ultra-glam hair, to give this a high fashion twist.

It’s spring ladies! So invest in a few statement dresses and get your fashion up to date and working for you. This is the perfect time of the year to switch up our look and hit the high street with confidence and attitude. Get shopping, get organized and get out there.

Happy Shopping!

  1. Love denim but it always makes me look so frumpy!! Idk why!! I guess I just have found my key denim piece yet!

    1. Keep searching! It’s out there. There are so many different fits made for different body types! One of my favorite brands that seems to work well for a lot of body types is Denizen, you can find them at Target!
