I bet you have looked at and plaid before and not really thought much about there being so many different ways to wear it, right?! Did you even know there are several different kind of plaids out there? To be honest, I didn’t! Turns out, there is! From shirts to scarves, peek-a-boo accents to tartan hooded ponchos, we’re seeing plaid…everywhere! It’s one of the hottest trends of the season. But with all this plaid talk, there’s also a lot of “gingham” and “madras” and “buffalo” getting thrown around. What’s the difference between them? I’m so glad you asked. Let’s “check” out a few of our favorites.
Madras Plaid
Madras plaids are often multiple colors in a variety of widths. While plaid shirts are a fall staple, we especially love this colorful check and stripe pattern for accent accessories, like scarves.

Window Pane Plaid
