I’m a hair product junkie, and if there is something new on the market, claiming to be amazing, you can bet I’m going to be trying it!

I had heard lots of good things about the Schwarzkopf brand but hadn’t actually got to try it until just recently. I was beyond thrilled after hearing that these products from this innovative brand are winning over ladies everywhere lately!

I have super long hair and besides shampoo and conditioner, some kind of styling cream is an absolutely must for me. I tend to be quite low maintenance with my hair. While I’m obsessed with hair products, I usually still only use the bare minimum from day to day. In fact, I’m lazy about hair cuts, hair coloring, even washing my hair. So I need a lazy girl’s hair product that will give me a perfectly styled look with rich, fabulous texture, which will be lightweight enough that I can wait for a few days before washing again. And of course, I need a product that will work! I’m just not going to spend any longer in front of the mirror then I have to.

When I got the Schwarzkopf Osis Thrill Texture Fiber Gum, I swear I heard angels singing! I use to use a texturing pomade back in the day like crazy because I loved how piece-y it made my hair. I absolutely love that texture, but if you’ve ever used pomade, you know its not for the lazy girl. That stuff will need to be washed out the next day. Hence, the fact that I quit using it. I went back to my lazy ways and pretty much apply only a shine serum to my hair after blow-drying and styling, and that’s it! That’s all I’ve been doing for years for my hair to give it style and hold, er not hold! I know, that’s pretty lazy!

When this lovely texturing cream showed up, I was absolutely in love the first time I used it! Like pomade, you only need a little bit, but I love that it’s much more lightweight and you feel that as soon as you dip your fingers into the pot to use it. It also transfers to your hair and is just as super lightweight there too!

When I applied it to my hair, I applied it to about the middle of my back down, focusing on my ends. I only had to use a tiny little bit which I would rub in my hands together first and then apply to my hair. I only had to dip about three times (for both sides and the back). It took two seconds, and voila! I was done!

Now to get an idea of what this looks like in your hair, I took some before photos. I had just blowdried and curled may hair and hadn’t put in anything else. Here is a shot from the front and the side.

Now here I’ve applied the Thrill Texture Fiber Gum:

Don’t you love it? There’s that gorgeous piece-y texture I’ve been missing all of these years! But look how soft and lightweight it looks! Pomade never looked this good in my hair. In fact, I’ve never used a styling cream that has looked so good! I’m so completely and madly in love with this texturizing cream!

Today I woke up (I took these pictures yesterday) and did the lazy girl thing by not washing my hair, and I thought to myself, “crap I hope my hair isn’t weighed down and looking super greasy,” but it wasn’t! It looks just as good today as it did when I applied it yesterday!  I did just apply a tiny bit more this morning though, although I probably could’ve just walked out the door as is!

The fabulous texture cream will not only give you amazing, super long-lasting texture (For Days!) but looks super natural in your hair and will keep it feeling super lightweight and soft too. I can comb my fingers through my hair normally and I get absolutely no oily, sticky residue like I use to get from using Pomade.
