I firmly believe that using the best ingredients are crucial to obtaining younger-looking, healthier, more vibrant skin! You can shop so many places for skincare and pay incredibly large amounts to only get SOME of the benefits your skin truly needs to look and feel its best. Reviva Labs started its groundbreaking technology way back in 1973! Yep, this company has been around for awhile and going strong, thanks to their ability to create truly remarkable skincare products that are effective AND affordable, AND will treat all of your aging skin ailments!

In fact, you may be very surprised to know that Reviva Labs was the first to introduce elastin to America! Yep, you read that right! The first! Both in skin care salons AND health food stores! And you don’t have to be a skincare expert to know how important building elastin in the skin is for bringing about a more youthful appearance! Elastin isn’t the only “first” they’ve brought to the USA either! Nope, we can thank them for collagen fibre masks, glycolic acid treatments, serum for eyelids, and much, much more!

Speaking of Glycolic Acid, I actually recently got to try out the new glycolic acid cleanser and toner from Reviva Labs, as well as their new sun protective moisturizer with SPF! Now, glycolic acid is pretty widespread in the beauty industry by now, simply because it works! Glycolic acid is a powerful exfoliator that safely rids the skin of dead skin cells sitting on the top layer, essentially making your skin look tired and dull, bringing new, younger looking, healthier skin to the surface. It’s been found extremely effective for evening out skin tone and texture (getting rid of those ugly sun spots!) and works really great for helping minimize blemishes and clearing up skin for those who unfortunately suffer from acne.

What is unique to Reviva Labs line of glycolic acid products that you won’t find in other brands, is that instead of using individual glycolic acid molecules (which can be hit or miss), Reviva Labs uses high potency polymers, which are the molecules linked in strands. This eliminates the hit or miss phenomenon you run into with other brands who only use the molecules instead of polymers. This in turn allows for better absorption, as well as better results for evening out skin tone and texture, fading those sun spots, and eliminating other sun damage that has been done to the skin. Reviva Labs uses a healthy, yet effective dose of glycolic acid in their products to deliver the max results, while still being gentle and safe on the skin.

I got to try out these amazing glycolic acid products from Reviva Labs over the last few weeks and have been super impressed! For one, you would think being as strong and effective as they are, that all that exfoliation would be harsh on the skin, but it absolutely is not, I found each of these products to be extremely gentle! Just be sure to use as directed!

I absolutely loved using the Glycolic Acid Cleanser from Reviva Labs. This cleanser is made using no oil (which is great for my lash extensions) and is actually water activated so it delivers the powerful ingredients to the skin even just through washing your face.  Along with no oil, you also won’t find any soap substance that remains on the skin in this cleanser either, which can actually interfere with the anti-aging benefits of using glycolic acid.

The cleaner is incredibly rich and creamy and feels so smooth and soft when applying to the skin. Be sure to read the directions when using! It actually calls for a couple of minutes of massaging it into the skin, and then leaving it on for another minute before rinsing off with lukewarm water. This ensures you get the maximum exfoliating benefits from using glycolic acid in a cleanser.

I have very dry skin so I worried that using this cleanser daily would dry my skin out, but it absolutely did not! Not even once! My skin actually felt quite the opposite while using and after rinsing off. It never once felt dry, tight, or irritated, but actually felt super smooth, soft, and supple! I was completely blown away with how moisturized it left my skin feeling – Which is exactly why I love cream cleansers, but I’ve never tried one this moisturizing that also contained the healthy anti-aging benefits of glycolic acid!

Next up in my new skincare routine, was the Glycolic Acid Facial Toner. Again, thanks to my dry skin, I usually avoid toners- at all costs! In fact, I almost never use them because they can be so drying on my already dry skin. Once again, being that it contains glycolic acid, and I would be doing more exfoliating to my skin by using it, I was worried my skin would be irritated and dry. But also, ONCE AGAIN, to my surprise and delight, I found this toner to be incredibly moisturizing as well! Again read the directions as it used a bit differently than most toners. Use a cotton ball and gently blot your face, instead of rubbing.

I found the toner to leave my face soft and smooth. No dryness whatsoever over the last few weeks I’ve been using it! This is now, hands down, one of my very favorite toners because It left my skin feeling soft and moisturized instead of dry and tight which almost all toners I’ve used in the past do! This toner actually contains aloe vera and hyaluronic acid to both moisturize the skin as well as leave it feeling calm and happy, instead of dry and irritated!

Last but not least, I used the Sun Protective Moistuzizer with SPF. I found this rich and creamy moisturizer also made my skin feel incredibly soft and smooth. For having SPF in it, I was completely blown away with how lightweight it felt on my skin and how easily it rubbed in. In fact I offered it to my husband one day before heading to the lake, and he turned me down, “no, I don’t like your face sunscreen.” I told him this was different, so he tried it, and excitedly proclaimed, “WOW, that feels so much better!” It works amazingly well for protecting your skin from the sun too! I spend a lot of time in the sun, in fact all weekend at the lake, and I never got red, burned, or irritated skin while using this wonderful SPF moisturizer.

Because it is creamy and gentle and doesn’t feel like a sunscreen at all, it makes a great nighttime moisturizer too, although I usually used it in the morning instead and followed my glycolic acid cleanser and toner from Reviva Labs up with a regular anti-aging night cream.

The moisturizer is completely greaseless and is soaked into the skin right away! It really made my skin not only feel smoother and softer, and more moisturized, but also gave it a lovely dewy, glowing, radiant complexion too! Now how many other sunscreen moisturizers do that!? I don’t think I’ve ever experienced that before now!

I’m completely obsessed with all of these wonderful products from Reviva Labs. No surprise there though, I always am! You can get beautiful radiant, glowing skin by using this wonderful line of glycolic acid products from Reviva Labs, without getting the dried out, irritated, unhappy skin of using major exfoliating ingredients!
