There’s just something about a fabulous eye shadow palette that gets me all giddy inside. I recently got to try out the latest and greatest cosmetic product from Butter London, the shadow clutch. I threw in moody blues into mine, which is a really pretty dark shade of midnight blue and a pretty pastel green. I wore these two shades together with one of my light vanilla shades already in my compact, for a really pretty rich, colorful, bright, eye-popping look.
These colors not only come in the most amazing, flattering shades, but the eye shadows are specially formulated to absorb oil and balance the skin. This simply means you don’t get the dreaded shadow creases. I am the perfect person to test that out on too, because unfortunately thanks to my bad droopy-eyelid genes (Thanks mom! Ugh!) I have product buildup here all the time! Every single time I wore my Butter London shadows, never once did I notice any shadow stuck in the crease! It stayed perfectly put all day long! That won me over right there!
If that wasn’t enough, the eye shadows are also primer-infused too, so they offer incredibly staying power, and easily stay on all day and ALL night long too!
The shadow clutch also comes with some great tips and placement of certain colors to help you create dramatic night time looks, or more casual looks for day.
The colors are so easy to blend and layer, it makes it a cinch to get even, beautiful shadow distribution to your lids, for a more cohesive, natural look.
The thing I found amazing is that it comes with a really nice brush, with an end for blending, and another end for applying. I found this brush to be every bit as good as expensive brushes I’ve paid for and used in the past! I could tuck my brushes away and use the hand brush that came with my palette, also making it great for taking this palette on the go too!
