Fall In Love With Your Nails with the Pure Ice New Year New Hue Nail Polish Collection

Well the New Year has already taken off to a quick start, don’t you think? I can’t believe it’s already March this weekend! Boy, was my mom right when she said the older you get, the faster time flies! It is FLYING!
Luckily, I’m starting the new year off with the New Hue Collection from Pure Ice. I love my nail polish, boy do I LOVE my nail polish. I also really love Pure Ice, because not only do you find some of the most gorgeous nail shades fathomable, but you can also pick them up for practically nothing! Yep, only $1.97 each on WalMart.com or in stores, and is their best-selling nail polish value for over 25 years! In fact, Pure Ice has created over 96 beautiful shades of polish, sure to help you create any look imaginable! ( I also found whole Pure Ice Nail polish collections on Amazon for $20-$30 + FREE Shipping!)
Pure Ice nail polish is also free of formaldehyde, DBP, and Toluene, so you can feel safe using it, knowing that it will not destroy or ruin your nails either!
When My Pure Ice New Year, New Hue collection arrived, I couldn’t wait to try it out! I love that the new collection comes with a pretty glossy, super holding-top coat, as well as 5 beautiful sparkly top coats, and a really pretty shade of peachy orange and metallic gold.
I had a blast playing with all of these colors as you can imagine. I love especially using sparkly top coats to add a really fun look to any nail color,  so I loved that all the beautiful shades of sparkly glitter coats in this collection not only added some fun playfulness to my manicure, but also really extended the holding power. So much, that I didn’t even need to use the top coat most of the time!
See some of the looks I’ve created with my New Year New Hue Collection from Pure Ice below:

The Lovely Flawless on my toes (a pretty frosted light gold with a metallic finish):
Flawless with Poppin Bottles (a luxurious silver pearl with silver hex glitter and a gold iridescent finish) used as a top coat:

The Lovely Dollface (a gorgeous soft cream peach that was also probably my very favorite in the collection!):

Doll face with Rosy Glow (a beautiful pink glittered hint that actually looks like a very gorgeous bright orange) layered over the top:

Flawless:
Flawless layered with Purple Haze (purple glitter top coat) over the top:

In Blue Hue (A sparkly blue glitter coat):

In Poppin Bottles:

With Blue Hue and Poppin Bottles layered over the top:

What’s the Splatter (White and Black Sparkly Glitter top coat):

What’s the Splatter over Flawless:

What’s the Splatter over DollFace:

What’s the Splatter over DollFace (the last one) was my favorite combination. With Easter coming up, I thought this turned out just like one of those candied speckled easter eggs! How cute, right?

Also if you’ve been watching “The Bachelor” I was totally inspired by Brit’s different nail coats on each hand. If you didn’t see it, she had one hand painted blue, and the other painted red. I found it inspiring and decided to do something similar with my Pure Ice Nail collection. I painted the left hand with Flawless, and What’s the Splatter as a top coat, and then painted my right hand with Dollface and Whats the Splatter as a top coat. I love the unique look of having two different colored hands! It’s so unexpected!

I’m absolutely head over heels for my new Pure Ice, New Year New Hue collection and have had so much fun playing with these gorgeous sparkly glitter coats (which seems totally perfect for the new year!) I love that the sparkly glitter top coats really extend the life of your polished nails too! My polish stays on rock hard perfectly for days, with no chips! Be warned though, it does take some time removing the polish with nail polish remover!

If you would like to purchase the Pure Ice New Year New Hue collection or any of the beautiful shades for yourself, then be sure to visit Walmart today, or shop them online at Walmart.com!

Happy Painting!

  1. I love playing with nail polish. My niece and I make up nail designs and its such a fun thing to do with the gals. I love the glitter and metallic colors. Great post!

  2. So weird, I thought I replied to this post already. I love What’s the Splatter! Even though I’m not usually a fan of glitters (especially if they’re different sizes — I can never make them look nice and even) but I love the speckled easter egg kind of look. So cute.
