Nail polish is one of my favorite beauty items and you can bet I nearly always have some painted nails. It’s a great, easy, and fabulous way to keep your style looking classy and chic without breaking the bank. I also love that it’s so easy to express your personality through some fun printed nails or nail art, or with a bright, playful color to express how you’re feeling at the moment!

I am always searching for new fabulous nail polish, especially for polish that will really hold. Being a vegetarian, you can bet animal-friendly nail polish is also at the top of my list, and I also want some polish without all those harsh chemicals too.

I recently came across Dazzle Dry Nails by VB Cosmetics, and it fit all my requirements and then some! This fabulous nail system dries nearly instantly! In fact, you can expect rock hard nails in 5 minutes! That is 75% faster than most nail polishes you are using! Anyone who wears polish on the regular knows this is nearly impossible to find even at the nail salon!

Dazzle Dry Nails work like a gel nail polish but without the use of harmful UV lights. In fact you don’t need any lights! Yay, no more unwanted drying time of just sitting around with your hands under a light waiting for your nail polish to dry!

Dazzle dry is super hard like a gel polish but you won’t get any yellowing and it’s also super easy to remove with nail polish remover, just like regular nail polish! This amazing nail polish also works as a nail strengthener when you use it! Heaven knows my weak, brittle nails could use every bit of strengthening they can get, so I absolutely love that wearing my Dazzle Dry nail polish is also helping improve the strength and health of my nails!

Dazzle Dry is vegan, cruelty-free, and also hypoallergenic. It is the only nail polish on the market that is Nitrocellulose Free. You also won’t find Toluene, Formaldehyde, Camphor, or DBP in this brilliant little nail polish! This truly is a nail polish that you can feel good about using, especially knowing that it is also helping to strengthen your nails (they add Vitamin B5, collagen, and calcium to the polish) and in turn, makes them healthier too! Thanks to it’s strengthening power, you can expect chip free nails for up to an incredible 3-4 weeks! Wow! That is nearly unheard of!

When my Dazzle Dry nail polish system arrived, I couldn’t wait to try it out. You get a Nail Prep, base coat, polish and top coat when purchasing the nail kit. Pretty much just like using your regular polish, you use the nail prep first to clean the nails. (This nail prep actually helps strengthen the nails though too!) Be sure to file your nails first before using the nail prep, so that you give the nail prep and  polish something to stick to.

Instead of applying one regular base coat, you actually apply two base coats when using the Dazzle Dry System. (Please note that if the bottle is foggy, just run under warm water until the polish becomes clear). The polish dries so quickly you can pretty much start on the other hand once you’ve finished the first coat. (Just be sure that it is indeed dry). Also, be sure to generously apply the coats especially around the tip of the nails. Try to use the three stroke technique when applying your Dazzle Dry polish. One stroke down the middle, and one on each side, to get the best, most accurate and smooth application.

Once dry, apply one or two coats of your color. I applied two for a smoother, darker, richer red. I only had to wait a few minutes before I could move on to the top coat.

You only need to apply one layer of top cat and then let it air dry for 5 minutes. I was completely impressed with how quickly each layer of polish really did dry, especially the red and the top coat. It seems like when painting with regular polish, these two steps can really take forever, thanks to the forever-long drying time. But not with Dazzle Dry!

*Please note it’s important to follow these steps to get the longest life out of your Dazzle Dry nail system, and in order to get nails that won’t chip for up to 4 weeks!

Once I got my nail polish on, I was immediately impressed with how beautiful it was, as well as how hard it really does look and feel on the nail. I’ve used gel polishes before and this polish had a similar feel, but when it comes time to remove it, it is sooo easy to remove with nail polish remover, unlike taking off those dreaded gel nail polishes !

I wore mine pretty good for nearly a week before I started to get a chip here and there (I do tend to wash dishes without gloves and play in lots of hot water, so my manicures don’t last as long as they could if I protected my nails a little better). When it does start to chip, it is big chunks, thanks to the nail polish being so rock hard. I found this was easier for touch ups though. It looked much smoother and more natural when reapplying my base coat, color, and top coat to the chip. The whole nail looked much more even and consistent, especially for being a touch up!

Overall, I was completely impressed with how hard my nails felt. Especially the tips where I tend to constantly have nails breaking. My nails felt much harder and stronger both while wearing my Dazzle Dry nail polish and even after I had removed it!

The dry time is absolutely amazing and this polish lasts much longer without chips than regular nail polish or even gel polishes you use at home!

I highly recommend this wonderful nail polish system for anyone! It is super easy to use, doesn’t take any longer than applying regular polish, and it will dry much, much faster! It will last longer, it’s healthier to your nails and really will strengthen them and make them much healthier, especially with continued use!
