As we look toward spring, we’re thinking about cute, versatile hairstyles that work in any weather for any occasion.
Our go-to? The classic ponytail. It’s easy to dress up or down and has a timeless elegance to it. Here’s how to create a voluminous ponytail hairstyle for any occasion!
Start by applying the wire section of a set of clip in extensions (pictured in shade 60) to the crown of the head and tighten as needed. This set was pre-curled before application. I love the Tony Odishio Velo Extensions!
Using the end of a rat tail comb, pull out a layer of natural hair.
Unclip the second weft of the Velo from the first and prepare to apply it.
Brush out the hair to blend it.
Tease hair on the crown to add some volume.
Pull hair back into a low ponytail, leaving out some face-framing pieces. Secure with a rubber band.
Gently pull on some pieces to add volume and texture to the ponytail.
Curl the front pieces of hair using a curling iron or mini flat iron.
Finish off with a cute bow or ribbon.
And that’s it! A voluminous ponytail hairstyle that can be dressed up or down. Plus it has the added bonus of being super easy to create!
Happy Styling!

I’ve always wanted to see how extensions were applied.
OMG more efforts are needed
I’ve never tried hair extensions, but these look really good. I’d try these.
It was amazing to see how hair extensions are done. I think they look so nice!
