It was my pleasure to test a few more Hydroxatone products this last month, and I have to say, I was yet again, super impressed! Hydroxatone is quickly becoming one of my favorite skincare brands. Their products are amazingly effective, gentle on my skin, and incredibly hydrating!
This past month, I tested the Microsonic Face Brush, Gentle Milky Cleanser, Revitalizing Microdermabrashion, and Sunsoak Age Defying Self Tanner.
The Microsonic brush was one of my favorites. I used this in conjunction with both the Gentle Milky Cleanser and the Revitalizing Microdermabrasion, to help remove makeup better, and allow for products to penetrate the skin better, in turn making them more effective. I loved that the Face Brush comes with two different brushes, a bristle brush to use with cleanser and a sponge to use with the Microdermabrasion. The brush is easy to use and has two different speeds. It gently moves across the skin in small circular motions for a couple of minutes, to help work product into the skin.
The brush is incredibly easy to use and I loved that it helped clean my skin better when used with the cleanser. The brush would be full of makeup when I was done (But is easily rinsed out). I feel like it did a much better job of removing makeup then cleanser does on its own. I also found it incredibly massaging and felt like it helped give my skin a better glow, especially when used with the Microdermabrasion. I also felt like more of my moisturizer was absorbed after using the brush.
The brush set is also much more inexpensive then other brands and the replacement heads (2 bristles and 1 sponge) are only $10! Other brands charge up to $40 for a set of two! If you are in the market for a good, inexpensive Face Brush, then Hydroxatone has got you covered!
I normally have really dry skin and feel a lot of cleansers dry out my face and make it feel tight. I loved using the Gently Milky Cleanser because it was so rich and soothing. I loved how it felt on my face, an afterwards, absolutely zero tightness! I found it incredibly moisturizing and I really enjoyed using this cleanser morning and night. I have also been suffering from some Acne lately, so I was wondering if this cleanser would be strong enough. It was! If anything my Acne approved a bit while using these products, I think thanks to the Face Brush because it removed more makeup, as well as the Revitalizing Microdermabrasion, because it removed those nasty dead skin cells!
I really had fun using the microdermabrasion with the Face Brush. The Revitalizing Microdermabrasion is not harsh, but went on smoothly and the beads helped exfoliate my skin. I felt like it really scrubbed my skin well and the massaging motion of the brush helped aid the microdermabrasion cream. My skin felt noticeably softer, smoother, and had a more dewy glow after using this product!
Last but not certainly not least, was the Sunsoak Age-defying Self Tanner! This product worked great! After using it, a couple of hours later I had a really nice glow! It goes on so smoothly too. Every time I used it I had no streaks. Everything was completely uniform. The nice tan stuck around for a few days too before I felt I needed to use the product again. I really enjoyed using the self tanner and found it very easy to use, and loved the nice tan it gave me.
I am very impressed with all of these products and will continue to use them in the future! I highly recommend these wonderful products! They are effective, easy to use, inexpensive, and gave my skin a more youthful, moisturized, beautiful glow!
