Ahhh the Little Black Dress. A dress you can count on to never go out of style, makes you look skinnier, and is something that always looks elegant and classic for a night out, or really any occasion you need to get dressed up for that matter!
There are a number of LBD’s (Little Black Dresses) out there, but it doesn’t mean they are always going to be the best fit or style for your body. I’ve had plenty of LBD’s over the years, and some were much better fitting and flattering than others, and price didn’t always play the biggest factor in that either, Surprisingly enough!
Sometimes finding an LBD that looks amazing and still affordable can be a bit of a challenge, but if you look hard enough, they are out there I promise. Luckily, I’m going to save you the time and energy of having to look for that perfect dress by sharing with you an amazing LBD I found online this week that will work for every body type out there!
The Ouges Scalloped V Neck Vintage Fit and Flare Cocktail Dress is a great LBD for any body type. The reason being that the pretty scalloped neckline draws attention up, to the face. The cut is also low enough (but not too low) that it is super flattering on any bust size too, whether you be on the smaller or the larger side (Lucky!)
The fit and flare is hands down my favorite style of dress and skirt. That is simply because the smallest part hugs at your smallest part of your body, your natural waist, and then flares out. This disguises less than perfect derrieres and thighs. The high waist of this dress where it is fitted also draws attention to the smallest part of your body, giving you that beautiful hourglass shape and drawing attention to your beautiful, natural curves as well.
The dress is also a great length and hits at about the knee, which is also flattering for any body type too, no matter how thin or thick your legs happen to be.
The scalloped Fit and Flare cocktail dress also has a sexy V neck back which shows off just the right amount of skin and is also one of those universally sexy parts of a woman no matter what your size.
Now just to style it!
Styling an LBD couldn’t be easier, add some killer and colorful heels and/or clutch or small chain shoulder bag and you’re good to go! I paired mine with these cute yellow, black and white butterfly strappy sandals and my purple chain strap shoulder crossbody handbag.
A little weary of showing off your bare arms? Add a cute shorter bomber jacket to this dress for some real style! The edgier, the cooler it will look!
