The holidays are rapidly approaching, and with that of course, means lots of holiday shopping! Sometimes it can be a real pain to buy for your loved ones. I tend to be an incredible lazy shopper and go for the gift cards or cash every time. I know, I know, that is horrible and includes virtually no thought at all, and well, as they say… “It’s the thought that counts!”

She doesn’t even have to be a fashionista to appreciate it! It looks great on everyone, and in the bright beautiful colors you can find it in, actually really accentuates any complexion too! Not only will she love the scarf for adding some instant style to her look, or cozying up for cooler weather, but it will make her look and feel like a million bucks too!
I decided to try out the Lola Cheng scarf in pink with purple hems, but you can also find it in plain pink, or a beautiful orange too!
When the scarf arrived, I was immediately blown away with the quality and feel of this scarf. Being that it’s 100% silk, you can bet its going to look and feel super luxurious, and boy does it! I don’t always wear a lot of scarfs, and when I do, it’s usually a heavier knit scarf for winter to stay warm, but when I pulled this beautiful Lola Cheng scarf out of the box, I immediately put it on, tried it out a few different ways, and fell in love! In fact, I’ve worn it probably a dozen times already since I got it, as I’ve found it looks amazing with everything from a cute tank top to your winter coat!
I personally love the bright color of this scarf when it pops against a black monochromatic look, but I also wore it out with my beige trench coat for some shopping this last weekend and it looked absolutely amazing with that too! There are unlimited ways of wearing this gorgeous silk scarf, and it adds such an element of fabulousness to whatever you’re wearing, I know like me, You will probably find yourself (or your loved one you will be gifting it to) wearing it over and over!
The scarf is nice and long and can be worn several different ways. I love that it adds instant style to whatever I’m wearing it with too. You don’t have to wear it with neutrals either, as I’ve found it looks really great with pretty prints such as floral too, and is ultra feminine when worn with lace. You can wear it dressed up with your little black dress, or for a casual look with your jeans and a big cozy sweater for fall.
The scarf is also very nicely sewn together and so incredibly soft, as you would imagine it being since it is 100% silk! I find myself playing with it and running my fingers through it a ton when I wear it, because of how exquisite it feels in my hands. You never have to worry about an itchy neck wearing it, unlike those winter scarves you buy for bundling up. Yet when worn in the cooler weather with a jacket, keeps my neck nice and cozy and warm too, even though it is lightweight. It’s truly a scarf you can wear all year long too, again making it that much more versatile, and a piece you will really find yourself getting every penny you put into it, right back out of it!
As you can see here, the scarf is absolutely beautiful and totally eye-catching too! I wore it to a party recently and go SO MANY compliments on the scarf. I normally go to parties with a cute dress or skirt, but was feeling lazy (as in, I didn’t want to shave my legs. Hey it’s winter, I feel totally justified in that) so I wore it with black jeans instead. To spice up the look I added my Lola Cheng scarf, and boy did it do the trick! I got a lot of attention for what would have otherwise been a very plain, boring outfit without it!
This scarf takes no styling work either. For instance, If you buy it for a loved one who tends to be a bit fashionably-challenged, this scarf is the perfect gift for her to instantly take her look up a notch and requires no thought or extra effort. Just put it on with whatever you’re wearing, and that’s it! As I’ve shown you from my example above for my party look, a scarf this fabulous needs no extra work. It’s going to make whatever you’re wearing look instantly- more glamorous!
