Winter is well on its way, and along with dark colors, well, you actually don’t find too much bright this time of year. While I admit to wearing a darker palette in the winter months, being a girl who absolutely loves her color, especially when it comes to my style, I had to pop some color in there some where!
I recently found this lovely waist-cinching shape wear from Vedette in Bright Green! While some may not associate neon green with winter, I decided to pair it with an all black outfit for a fun and truly unexpected pop of color. I also decided to add a bright clutch bag in the same color, as well as a fun printed multi-colored scarf, with that hint of neon green in it as well. Oh yeah, and of course, some bright multi-colored earrings too!
While a monochrome palette can look great on its own, especially this time of year, I don’t like to fade into the crowd, which if you’re wearing a neutral monochromatic outfit, is exactly what will happen. I love this fun pop of color to brighten up my all black outfit and booties, AND I also love that besides adding something snazzy and unexpected to my style, the waist cincher is really drawing me in at the waist and giving me a great shape too.
I’ll admit, this time of year is the unfriendliest to my body. I start divulging in the Halloween candy, eating pumpkin anything that I can get my hands on, and I start to put on a few extra pounds for winter. Usually with the weight going directly to my middle. The waist cincher shape wear from Vedette is the perfect way to suck in all those cookies, pumpkin lattes, and chocolates, and give you back your summer-bikini shape, or at least a more desirable middle.
