I was recently revamping my closet, looking for items to update my spring wardrobe with, when it donned on me that I really don’t have a great khaki-like lightweight linen jacket. In fact, most of my jackets are pretty warm and usually in the style of blazers, bomber jackets, and trench coats. I wanted to find a nice laid-back piece that is cool enough for warmer weather but will still keep me warm on those cooler spring days.
While many of you may know Orvis for their fishing equipment, what you may be surprised to learn is that they offer some pretty fabulous fashion for women as well! When visiting their site recently, I was amazed with how feminine their line of clothing for women is, especially being that they are mostly known for being an outdoor sporting good store! The beautiful soft classic silhouettes come in lots of fabulous spring prints, including pretty brightly colored florals. I personally love the colorful selection of apparel too, to really help usher in the warm weather and colorful mood of spring.
The collection of clothing from Orvis is as functional and fashionable as it is pretty! I love that these gorgeous pieces can be a fantastic staple for daily wear. In fact, the jacket I was wanting to update my closet for spring… Totally found it at Orvis! The Heritage Irish Linen Safari Jacket is the perfect jacket for layering over tees, tanks, and light sweaters. I love that it gives off a cool laid-back vibe to my look too! I find that it looks extra great when pairing with heels and fancier shorts! Not only does this jacket look great for a beautiful spring outfit, but it works great for taking out into the great outdoors as well! Being back in Utah, I know this is the perfect functional jacket to keep me warm and cozy for doing some hiking, camping, and mountain biking.
Along with a great jacket, I also found a must-have Everyday favorite white tank top, perfect for wearing with nearly anything! I love a basic white tank top because I find I get more wears out of it than nearly anything else I own! This tank is exceptionally well made, soft, and looks like a much more expensive piece of clothing. The top is lightweight enough for warmer weather and layering, yet is thick enough you don’t have to worry about it ever being see-through.
These fun pieces from Orvis not only look fabulous, but they move well with me and work for any outdoor activities I might be involved in. They keep me warm, but cool enough when the sun comes out. They also keep me incredibly comfortable too!
