Summer Make-Up Must Haves and A Waterproof Mascara I Won’t be Leaving Home Without

Summer is finally on its way, and with it comes warm weather, sunshine, and usually water. Whether it be taking the kids to the waterpark or running through sprinklers with them, lounging by the pool with the girls, tubing the river with your significant other, boating with friends,  or my personal favorite: wake boarding, there are going to be lots of reasons you’re going to want to keep your make up in tact this summer. 
Sometimes it’s easier to just forgo the make up, for instance, if you know you’re going to be swimming at the pool, and there is just no way and NO point to even applying makeup, but for most of us, there are times when we think we may get wet, but maybe we won’t either, so we want to still look our best.
I personally spend a lot of weekends out at the lake, lounging on my boat and playing in the water, so I like to be prepared. While it might be best to skip the foundation, go for a tinted sunscreen, this way you get some coverage also while keeping your skin safe from harmful UVA and UVB rays.
My go-to beauty item any time of the year, whether rain or shine, is mascara. I won’t leave the house with out it. It’s a great item to apply when you don’t have time but want to look like you did something with yourself. 
If you are enjoying water activities, sometimes you don’t want to look like you did much with your makeup anyway, right? Waterproof mascara is the best option you can choose if you want to look great without looking like you’re trying.  There is something about big beautiful lashes that really make us look and feel our best. It of course does draw attention to your eyes, which is where you want people looking anyway. But when wearing only mascara to the waterpark, you will look effortlessly chic, and people will have no idea you’re even wearing any makeup at all!  
For warm weather, waterproof mascara is an absolute must-have! Sometimes you don’t even have to be planning on being near water, but in the mad heat of summer, it’s easy to get caught sweating your face right off, but at least your mascara doesn’t have to budge!
