The Perfect Nail Polish Shades for the Holidays: Sinful Colors

I’m a bit of a nail polish fanatic. In fact if you ask my friends and family, my nails are always almost painted. There is just something about looking down and my hands and seeing a bright pretty color on my tips that really makes me smile. I also feel put together and looking my best when I have on a nice coat of polish.
I’m not going to lie, I hoard nail lacquer like its going out of style. I have drawers and drawers full of nearly every shade imaginable. I am horrible about throwing out expired polish too, even when It begins to separate, because I once read you can add a few drops of nail polish remover to the bottle and give it a good shake and no more separation. It works! Try it!
I love my bright neons in the summer, my pretty pastels in the spring, and rich dark greens and burgundy’s for fall, but hands down, glitter and all things sparkly for winter is my absolute favorite!
When I came across Sinful Colors’ latest collection, my jaw dropped when I saw all the lovely new glittery shades of colors perfect for the lovely holiday season! You can also find gorgeous bold greens, reds, golds, and blues in the new collection!
The Holiday Sinful Colors collection (in 22 different beautiful shades) is available exclusively at Walgreens for only $1.99 each! For that price, you can pick up lots of fabulous shades to try out tons of different holiday looks!
I picked out a gorgeous midnight blue and three sparkly polishes in a reddish-gold (Gilded) and blue and silver (Hottie and Ice Dream).
In Gilded:
In Midnight Blue on my Toes:
In Hottie:
In Ice Dream:

The polishes are absolutely fun and I love that with glitter polishes you get more staying power, although it’s still easy to remove when you’re ready for a new color. I got a lot of compliments wearing these different shades too! They are certainly eye catching and really give a great pop of sparkle and pizazz to whatever you’re wearing!

I applied two coats of each polish for maximum color and holding power, as well as a base coat and top coat. I was pleased to see that my polish lasted nearly a week, and hardly chipped at all for about the first 3 days! With the last set I made the mistake of washing dishes without gloves as well as doing some housecleaning so it didn’t last quite as long. But when you take care of your manicure, you can get several days out of the Sinful Colors polishes!

These were just a few of the stunning colors I got to try, but the collection is absolutely beautiful and totally worth checking out! Be sure to shop them at Walgreens today!

Happy Shopping!
