I’ve always been on the hunt for the perfect razor, and I’ll admit, I thought I had found one or two. I guess for the most part, all razors kind of seemed the same to me, unless its a disposable – big difference! But for most razors that have 4 or 5 blades, the shave seems to always be about the same. I will get a few nicks here and there but a pretty close shave for the most part. Lately it seems like everyone has jumped on the moisturizing bar train and I thought that was the best thing ever too. However, I have longgg legs (I’m 5’10) and by the time I’m done shaving them and headed to my bikini area, my moisturizing bar is pretty much gone, and I still tend to get lots of razor burn there.
Well I recently got to try a new razor, the Dorco Shai 6 blade soft touch razor! If you look at this picture you can see this razor is a little different than most razors. The head flexes right down the middle so you have three blades on each side that really get those funny angles perfectly!
When I first picked up this razor I loved that it flexes and has three blades on each angle. I also love that or you can use it on the legs and you have 6 blades to catch every single hair! I was however a bit skeptical that there was no moisturizing bar – that is until I used it!
When I first used this razor I was pleasantly surprised with how well it glided against my skin. It’s a bit heavier than your typical razor, but I liked that. It felt sturdier in my hand and like it was getting closer to the skin and giving me a better shave.
I started with my legs and it glided seamlessly around my knees and behind them. I shaved both my legs and no nicks at all (I almost always get one or two, even with a moisturizing bar). I didn’t even notice the absence of the moisturizing bar. My skin felt smooth and soft, and the razor glided perfectly along my legs and no nicks!
When I got to my bikini area, thats where the major WOW came! I moved my Dorco Shai razor along all the funny angles and still went over the same areas a few times, though I probably didn’t need too) and no razor burn! Thats almost unheard of for me when it comes to the bikini area! My Dorco Shai razor hit every area perfectly, was smooth, and caused no discomfort or irritation! When I finished, I pulled out a mirror just to inspect everything really closely and I was incredibly impressed with the results! No unwanted hair in site! My skin looked super smooth and no red marks or irritation of any kind!
I absolutely loved using this razor and am throwing all of my other razors out! I love how smooth and soft my skin feels. This razor got me a super close shave and I loved how easy it was to use. It made those funny angles super easy to get a close shave without having to go over them a hundred times! My skin has absolutely no irritation, nicks, or razor burn! I am absolutely in love with this razor! Best of all, its cheaper than most 5 blade razors you find in the store, and It has 6 blades!
