The Power Skort- A Must Have Fashion Item for This Season

Remember back in the late 90’s how skorts were everywhere? I was in high school back then and I remember rocking a few to school! For my super conservative home, it was a way to get away with a short-looking skirt, because it was actually a short! While I’m not sure why they disappeared over the last decade or so, the super soft, feminine skort has finally made it’s way back into mainstream fashion again!

The skort is such a great piece to add to any wardrobe! Because it’s a short in back, skirt in front, it’s super versatile and looks great with many different tops and shoes! It’s a super playful way to amp up your look, especially if you tend to be more on the cautious side when it comes to wearing shorter skirts. The skort is incredibly comfortable and instantly glams up any outfit!

While skorts of the past were often found in prints, and actually if I remember right,  mine from high school were pretty horrible! The skorts of now are solids, and from what I’ve been seeing, usually white!

I love how chic this outfit looks for day and can easily be transitioned into night as well!
