Valentines Day is rapidly approaching, and everyone has got romantic gift giving on the mind! Maybe you’re not currently attached, that doesn’t mean you can’t get something for yourself! Obviously if you decide to treat yourself to something luxurious for the big day, you probably don’t want to go the romantic route, but giving yourself a little extra pampering might be the perfect antidote to a day that may have you feeling down or a bit lonely.
I love the idea of treating myself to a spa day for the most romantic day of the year. It’s a great way to get in some pampering, relaxation, and rejuvenation. While we’re not always as good to our bodies and skin as we should be, why not show it some LOVE this Valentines Day! 
While some of us may not quite have an extravagant spa day in our budget, some fabulous new skincare (that is all under $20 each) is the perfect solution! You can treat your skin to some luxury without paying the hefty price. Besides, doesn’t trying a new fabulous line of skincare feel completely luxurious in it’s own way anyway?! I know it does for me! I love the idea of treating my skin and face to some pampering this Valentines Day!
I recently got to try an amazing line of skincare that will cost you mere pennies compared to what you’re probably use to spending for effective anti-aging skincare! Alpha Hydrox by Neoteric Cosmetics uses one of the most effective anti-aging ingredient on the market, glycolic alpha hydroxy acids (AHA’s). This amazing little ingredient helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles as well as fades those sun spots and evens out tone and texture of the skin. I recently got to try out some of the wonderful products from the Alpha Hydrox line, particularly for dry skin. I couldn’t wait to try out the products when they arrived to see if I noticed a difference in my skin!
The products I received to review were the Foaming Face Wash Clarifying Cleanser, the Enhanced Cream with 10% glycolic acid, and the Night Replenishing Cream. They have tons of amazing products to choose from for all types of skincare concerns, so everyone is sure to find their perfect skin care regimen here! 
For my routine, I washed my face with the cleanser morning and night, and then used the Enhanced Cream with glycolic acid at night to target wrinkles specifically, and then finished off with the Night Replenishing Cream to restore maximum moisture to my dry skin.

What I noticed right away about using these amazing products, is how incredibly moisturizing each one of them is, even the Enhanced Cream with the Glycolic acid! The foaming face wash is perfect for those who suffer from dry skin, like I do. This cleanser lathers so nicely and feels soft and gentle to the skin (even if you accidentally get it in your eyes!) It feels incredibly moisturizing on the skin and after rinsing off. In fact I could walk away for a few minutes before applying my Enhanced Cream, and my face didn’t tighten up or feel dry in the least. That is rare for me. Cleansers usually leave my skin feeling tight and dry, especially if I don’t get some moisture on it right away! This cleanser works fabulously for all skin types too!

What I love most about this cleanser, is that you don’t need to use toner with it either because this cleanser will automatically restore the pH balance to your skin! I’ve never even heard of a a cleanser doing that before!

The Enhanced Cream tingles a little when applying thanks to the 10% glycolic acid you will find in it, but I loved that, because it really feels like it’s doing something to my skin! The tingle is slight, nothing irritating in the least. It left my skin feeling super soft right after use! I would notice it would turn my skin a little red but that is because it is working hard to exfoliate the skin and remove dead skin cells. That is also why it makes your skin feel super after using!

The Enhanced cream, although it works like an exfoliate, is actually still incredibly moisturizing on its own too. I love the consistency and texture of the rich, cream. It feels luxurious just putting it on your face. I liked to concentrate on using it where my fine lines are, around my eyes and mouth, as well as on my temples and forehead, where most of my sun spot are.

This amazing cream will work hard to improve the elasticity of your skin, making it appear younger and more radiant. I noticed it made my skin look more radiant right away! The exfoliation really brought my younger more youthful skin to the surface, which instantly made my skin look more radiant and awake, and after a few weeks of use, my skin looked and felt softer, and more youthful too. It really lightened up some of my sun spots fabulously and my skin is looking all around, much more even!

*Please note this product does make your skin more sensitive to the sun, so be sure to use your daily sunscreen while using the Enhanced Cream!

The Night Replenishing Cream is a god-send for those with dry skin. The texture is so rich and creamy but not greasy in the slightest. My dry skin loved how it felt going on and it soaked it up right away, and instantly felt smoother and softer! You actually won’t find AHA in this product but the Night Replenishing Cream is designed to work perfectly with the cleanser and Enhanced Cream. It is extremely moisturizing but lightweight at the same time. It contains vitamin E to leave skin feeling extra smooth and soft. You also won’t find any fragrance in this product or any of the other Alpha Hydrox products.

Overall, I’ve been extremely impressed with this fabulous line of skincare, especially since these products are all under $20 each! The Night Cream is a mere $8! How often do you find great night creams that are effective AND at that price! Um.. Never! You absolutely can’t go wrong with trying out this line of skincare! It will cost you next to nothing, but leave your skin feeling youthful, more radiant, and absolutely LOVED! My skin has been thanking me for the last few weeks I’ve been using these fabulous skincare products! My Skin looks and feels softer, more even, and much more youthful! My dry skin has also been extremely well moisturized, especially while using during this super dry, harsh time of year!

I know you will love these products as much as I do and for as little as they cost, you absolutely can’t do yourself wrong by at least trying them out for yourself! So why not treat your skin to some pampering and LOVE this Valentines Day!

    The cost of skin care products is often very prohibitive so it’s good to know there’s something out there that everyday folk can try without breaking the bank!
