Three Different Ways to Style Crop Tops

Crop Tops are incredibly on trend at them moment, and while I’ve normally been very afraid of them, I decided to try out a couple this season from one of my favorite stores, Oasap.com
There are surprisingly lots of different styles of Crop Tops, so I decided to pick out three very different styles and then styled them each a different way, in different colors, textures and prints.
The first is a super flirty layered hot lace crop top, ($14) you can pick up in white, black, or burgundy. This crop top is a great one for beginners or those who may be a little shy exposing the mid section, because its a bit longer, and the loose cut of it makes it feel more like a short top, then an in-your-face crop top. I found it goes really great with a lot of different things, just keep the bottom half of you fitted, because this loose lace top needs something tighter on the bottom to give you some shape.
I decided to pair mine with some skinny high-rise jeans. When wearing a crop top, it’s best to pair them with something with a higher rise on the bottom, like jeans, or a high wasted skirt. Because my jeans are high-rise, you hardly see any of my midsection with this lace top. It’s a much more covered up crop top look, but is still totally on trend. I love the top in white too for a summer-y look, and decided to pair mine with some really bright accessories to really make the look pop.

Next, I found a chic bralette style crop top from Oasap, in a cute black and white polka dot print (On SALE right now for only $13!) These are actually my favorite style of crop tops, so I was super excited to try it out. This bralette crop top looks great with almost anything. I paired mine with a flowy high-wasited chiffon midi skirt.

This look was probably my favorite as it feels super feminine and flirty. I loved wearing this look around town one afternoon. It’s super comfortable and is a really great warm weather look. It’s also very easy to take from day to night by switching up a few accessories. I wore mine with some ankle strap flats here for a day look, but put on some high heeled sandals and a chic clutch, and you have the perfect look for a night out!

Lastly, I’ve been thrilled about the overalls trend, so I decided to try out these cute lightweight khaki suspender overalls from Oasap ($20)  and try it out with a fun peplum crop top in blue ($16).  The overalls are available in black as well, and the top comes in black, blue, white, or pink.

Overalls are huge right now, and mixing it with a crop top is a great way to squeeze in two super trendy looks while still keeping your mid-section covered.

The overalls are fun to wear and can be worn with both, one, or no straps up, to switch up your look. I tried mine out with both straps and with only one, for a more causal, 90’s retro look.

The hot peplum top looks fun peeking out behind the bib of these overalls yet also would look fabulous with a tighter fitted high-wasited mini or maxi skirt, or some high wasted jeans or trouser pants. Because this crop top is fitted, you could go with a loose or fitted bottom and it will look great with either. This is a great versatile top that is unlike other crop tops I’ve been seeing around lately. I love that it’s very unique and that the soft, ruffled peplum also gives is an extra feminine touch.

Crop tops are the top of the season, and although they can be a little scary, since most of us would rather not show off our mid sections, you can still get away with wearing higher wasted pieces to cover up more and make you feel a bit more comfortable. As you can see from my pictures above, you hardly see my tummy at all.

The crop top is a very versatile top and as you can see from here, there are lots of different styles, colors, and prints you can pick up your next crop top in!
