The Cents of Style Whitney Heathered cardigan is the perfect and totally affordable transitional piece to help you do just that! It is on trend with the “heathered” look and is a great neutral gray that plays well with summer brights AND pretty jewel tones for fall. The best part? You won’t believe how freaking awesomely comfy this cardigan is too! Not only that, but it’s completely flattering on every body type as well!

Below are some great looks showing you how much you can transition this cute cardigan between warmer and cooler weather clothing. We also added a tank top here to show you that you don’t need to put away your tanks and shorts for fall yet either! A tank top looks chic and pretty under a cardigan. It gives the look a more casual-cool vibe. You can also layer this pretty cardigan with a dressed up ruffled or chiffon tank for work too!

When weather gets even cooler, layer this cardigan over warmer pieces such as a light weight sweater or long sleeved tee. When winter approaches, you can take this cardigan right into the downright frigid weather too! Just add a scarf to keep your neck warm, and then layer your favorite jacket or coat over the cardigan! I personally love the look of a faux leather bomber jacket layered over a cardigan, so you have the bottom part of the cardigan peeking out. Its a chic look that looks casual but cool at the same time!

By having a few transitional pieces, the weather shift from summer to fall doesn’t have to be such a battle with your wardrobe! Simply swap out sandals for boots or flats, and those cute mini skirts and shorts for fitted trousers, leggings, jeans, or a cute midi skirt and tights. Lastly, replace a delicate necklace with a warmer infinity scarf as shown below. The temperatures might be starting to cool off but your style doesn’t have to!
