As most of you know, I am in love with my shape wear from VedetteStore.com and am constantly finding new ways to style it as outerwear!
This month I decided to try a harder piece to style as outerwear, the Valerie Waist Cincher in black. The waist cincher is a great piece of shape wear to wear under clothes to really suck in that waist and give you some beautiful curves. I am very boy shaped so I love using waist cinchers to really define my waist and make my bust and hips look bigger.
To show you how versatile this piece can be. I paired it with a day dress for the day time and a sexy leopard print dress for night!
Here I’m wearing my waist cincher over a nautical day dress I got from the Gap. I added a pretty vegan white shoulder bag from Imoshion and some pretty flat bejeweled sandals. This outfit can take me anywhere and although the shapewear looks heavy on its own, mixed with these bright summer neutrals, it still looks day appropriate and I didn’t feel overheated in it standing out in the hot sun either!
DAY:
To liven up my evening look, I kept the jewelry minimal thanks to the in-your-face leopard print dress. I added my favorite watches, a pretty black bow clutch, and my favorite black Kenneth Cole platform Sandals.
NIGHT:
So now you see how shape wear doesn’t’ just have to be worn underneath your favorite outfits! You can add it to your favorite dress to change up your look as well as give you a super flat stomach and beautiful curves!
