A Scarf That Truly POPS: Re-Threaded Grace Hand dyed Scarf Review

Disclosure: I got this product as part of an advertorial.

Its only been the last few years that I’ve become an avid scarf wearer. In fact I really hadn’t worn scarves at all much before that, which is really weird considering I live in a pretty cold climate at least during these long winter months, and you’d think I’d want to stay warm.
I think I kind of always had that thought that scarves were “old” boring, and outdated. That couldn’t actually be further from the truth. Scarves are a great way to add a pop of color or print to your neutral winter wardrobe.
What I haven’t seen to often is different textures in scarves. You usually get the silk, cashmere, or cotton, and thats pretty much the extent of that.
When I came across  Re-Threaded scarves, I was blown away by the incredibly uniqueness of their scarves. They are like nothing I had ever seen before. These scarves are actually made from t shirts, torn into strips and tied to together to create a beautiful, statement making scarf, that will be the furthest thing from boring in your winter wardrobe!
Not only that, but every purchase with Re-Threaded, a Jacksonville Florida based company, goes to help women affected by the sex trade. It is a purchase you can truly feel good about.
I got to try out the lovely green Grace Hand-dyed scarf. I’m a huge fan of green, so this naturally caught my eye, and I love the fun tie-dye feel of this scarf, with the pops of white and light green. Best of all, it will only set you back $17!
This scarf was named the Grace scarf, because of the unique stretching of the t shirt strands coming together perfectly to make this beautiful scarf, symbolizing how we as people, only through giving and receiving grace are able to come together fully as a team to make something beautiful.

I absolutely love how unique and eye catching this scarf is. It is super soft, comfortable, warm, and so fun and playful. Best of all, It is a scarf you can truly feel good about.

  1. Beautiful scarf! I don’t wear them usually because I feel like I’m going to get strangled when I do. (I’m strange, I know) but my oldest would probably love this one! Green is one of her favorite colors.

  2. Oh nice! I love that top you are wearing. Its funny you should mention scarves. This year is the FIRST year in my entire life that I have worn a scarf in the wintertime. I will admit it does come in handy, but it was hard for me to get used to it. I wish I had more fashion savvy when it comes to wearing scarves. Other people really know how to make it work for them…I am still learning.

  3. I like the fact that these scarves are made out of tee shirts–hopefully keeping them out of the garbage can! I really do not wear scarves but I think this would make a great gift for one or two of my friends!
