  1. Diamonds come in all colors from the more common white to pink and even black! For natural colored diamonds, blue, green, orange and red are the rarest; yellow and brown are the most common.
  2. Only around 30% of the diamonds mined worldwide are gem-quality.
  3. The Cullinan diamond, weighing in at 3,106 carats is the largest rough diamond in the world and was discovered in 1905.
  4. One of the most famous diamonds in the world is The Hope Diamond, a fancy dark grayish-blue hue, considered to be cursed. Fashioned into a cushion-shaped antique brilliant cut, The Hope Diamond was originally 112 ct. before being cut to its present weight of 45.52 ct.
  5. The world’s most expensive bra is the Heavenly Star Bra created in 2001 for Victoria’s Secret. The bra contained a 90 karat emerald cut centerpiece diamond worth $10.6 million and surrounded by 1,200 Sri Lankan pink sapphires estimated at $1.9 million dollars; bringing the total worth to a whopping. $12.5 million!
