I was thrilled to try out the Heeling Face and Body Bar Soap (the blue soap above) since I struggle with some adult acne! When I first used this bar, I’m not gonna lie, I was nervous about putting a bar soap on my face. I struggle with dry skin as it is (I know, and I still get acne, it makes no sense!) So whenever I’ve used bar soaps, my face gets drier than the Sahara desert! I picked up the bar, held my breath, and hoped for the best.
Immediately when I rubbed my hands together with this soap it lathered up nicely and actually felt soothing and moisturizing already. When I rubbed it on my face, it surprisingly felt good! My skin was not rejecting it, in fact, it seemed to be enjoying it! When rinsing, I noticed it only took a few rinses before it felt like the normal soap feel, where your hands won’t glide across your face, it just gets stuck right there where you place it to wipe off the excess water. I thought to myself, yep, bar soap, bet my face is going to dry out! But something miraculous happened! It didn’t! It didn’t at all! I put on my moisturizer (which is my normal nightly routine) and went to bed. Everything felt smooth and softened. My skin didn’t have an ounce of dryness!
I used my heeling bat soap again the next morning and every night since I got it a few weeks ago and have experienced no dryness, only fabulous added moisture! My skin felt smooth and soft. Oh and the zits… it did help! I even experienced the “time of the month” this last week, where I always break out, and no breakouts! My acne has improved while using this bar and kept the usual “once a month” breakout completely at bay!
I’m a believer in this bar.. And I’m no longer afraid of bar soap for the face, at least the Heeling Bar from Udder Chaos Farms!
I used the other two bar soaps (the Gardenia bar- the orange bar above, in the shower) and the Cleopatras Secret bar soap in my soap dish for hand washing during my 2-week trial. I loved using both of these soaps as well. My hands dried out a little at first around my thumb and forefinger, but only lasted a day or two and then has felt really nice and well moisturized since! I normally use liquid soap so I think it was just a bit of shock to my hands at first but they ended up actually loving the stuff!
I loved the pretty scent from using the Gardenia soap in the shower. It lathers up really nicely and felt great on my skin. No drying whatsoever! I applied my lotion right out of the shower (like I always do) and my Brown Sugar Honey goat milk lotion after washing my hands and my skin has felt fabulously moisturized, smooth and soft! The only drawback I found was that the soaps do bleed color a little, but it’s nothing that doesn’t wipe right off the sink or soap dish, and it certainly does not stain your skin!
I loved using all four of these products and would certainly recommend them, especially to anyone who knows and loves the benefits of using goat milk but wants to make sure that its coming from happy goats! This soap will make you smile. After seeing these cute pics and using my Udder Chaos Farm soap for the first time, I smiled just thinking about those cute little loveable guys! This was a goat milk product I could finally feel good about, and reap the benefits of goat milk knowing that! And of course, if you like natural products, then these soaps are for you! Each soap bar comes with a list of ingredients, such as olive oil, coconut oil, and other ingredients you actually know of and can feel good about using!

I love goat’s milk soap! I use it all the time. I also melt little bits of it as a cloth wipes solution for my toddler.
I don’t normally use bar soap because they normally dry out my skin (like you mentioned) but these seem to work very well for you. I liked how you mentioned that they lathered well and moisturised your skin. It sounds like something I would like.
