My love for watches started long ago when I remember playing with my dad’s watch while sitting in Sunday School as a small child. I remember being completely fascinated with the big bezel and pretty dial. The beautiful, dazzling shiny silver bracelet had my gaze completely locked in and I remember being so overwhelmingly fascinated and mesmerized by it.
I’ve always loved my watches. I remember collecting lots of leather band watches over my teenage years and once I became an adult, I moved onto those beautiful silver and gold mechanical watches I’ve always loved seeing my dad wear. I started out with some smaller ladies watches but always gravitate back to the big faced men’s watches, which takes up about 90% of my watch collection today. I wear big men’s watches loosely all the time and I get asked constantly why I haven’t sized my watch to fit. It’s probably because when I wear them loosely, I get entranced in the nostalgia of remembering putting my dad’s big #watch on my tiny wrist as a child.
