Is Your Watch Working Correctly? Here’s How to Tell: OneOf Accuracy

My love for watches started long ago when I remember playing with my dad’s watch while sitting in Sunday School as a small child. I remember being completely fascinated with the big bezel and pretty dial. The beautiful, dazzling shiny silver bracelet had my gaze completely locked in and I remember being so overwhelmingly fascinated and mesmerized by it.

I’ve always loved my watches. I remember collecting lots of leather band watches over my teenage years and once I became an adult, I moved onto those beautiful silver and gold mechanical watches I’ve always loved seeing my dad wear. I started out with some smaller ladies watches but always gravitate back to the big faced men’s watches, which takes up about 90% of my watch collection today. I wear big men’s watches loosely all the time and I get asked constantly why I haven’t sized my watch to fit. It’s probably because when I wear them loosely, I get entranced in the nostalgia of remembering putting my dad’s big #watch on my tiny wrist as a child.

While my dad may not have faced so many issues with his mechanical watch back in the day, nowadays, thanks to our ever-expansively growing technology, we’re surrounded by gadgets, speakers, motors, and electronic devices that emit a strong magnetic field, which is actually messing with our mechanical watches!

I was really surprised to learn this when trying out my new OneOf- Accuracy2 – which was designed and built for watch lovers and enthusiasts like myself, to detect and fight the loss of watch accuracy precision due to these strong magnetic fields.

It’s super easy to use, just download the OneOf Accuracy2 app in the itunes or google store, plug the device into your phone, place your watch on the sensor, and it will start detecting the results which will show up right on your phone!

How it Works:

The ultra-sensitive sensor detects every single vibration in the watch movement. Each of these small vibrations is converted into an audio signal, highly amplified, digitalized and transmitted to the device where every second, complex algorithms process tens of thousands of data. The Accuracy2 app then, automatically detects the presence of the watch on the sensor and after few seconds of initialization, you get all the detailed technical information you need in a professional and user-friendly app, including the precision of the watch (+/- x seconds or minutes a day). In just a few minutes, I’m able to know just how precise each of my watches are and if they actually need to be fixed to run more efficiently!

OneOf’s Accuracy2 provides amazing measurement performance, the best on the market today! It requires no battery or power supply so it’s super low maintenance! It is also beautifully designed itself, just like my watches, and looks beautiful just sitting there, whether my watch is sitting a top it or not!

The app is super easy to use and very user-friendly too. Here you can see it’s readings from one of my watches. The sensor was able to start grabbing the info within seconds and it is also constantly pulling info as long as your watch is sitting on it!
