Prints are going nowhere this season, and I’ve actually kind of become excited about that. I will be the first to admit, I fought the prints hard when they started coming back in a few years ago. I’ve always loved my stripes and polka dots but that’s pretty much it. Well, this last year that has all changed. I’ve become kind of obsessed with them, and had a blast mixing them too! While I don’t get too daring with the mixing of prints sometimes, I do like to have a little fun here and there.
In this look, I’m wearing a tiger head print chiffon top from Persunmal.com. Yep, that’s right… tiger head print… a bunch of big tiger heads! When I first saw it on the site I didn’t realize what it was, I just liked the shape and color of the print. When I looked more closely, I thought, “how cool!” I’m a huge fan of cats, even the big ones, so why not wear it!
I also thought this print and top was super casual until it showed up at my door. The chiffon texture dresses it up quite a bit, and I thought the print totally looks more on the formal side although You could easily dress it down with jeans, or trousers, and a denim jacket.
I loved that the top was dressy so I decided to run with it and pair a multi-color striped beige pencil skirt with it and some fancy colorful booties! I love that this look can easily take you from the office to cocktails! It’s perfectly dressed up enough for the day but still has some edge with the fun print and 4-inch booties that makes it work perfect for happy hour too!
I love this fun printed top and can see myself wearing it for many more seasons to come!
