Tria Laser Hair Removal Journal Update Treaments 13 & 14

Its been a few months since I’ve updated my progress with my at home laser hair removal system by Tria Beauty.

After helping film the infomercial in July in LA., Tria was kind enough to send me their brand new Laser (I’ve been using their old one). It does cover more area and faster too. You also don’t have to lift it up after ever zap and move it to a new spot now, it just glides smoothly across your skin and zaps the hair away! I’ve used the new Laser the last two months and its reduced my time and its easier to just sit back and relax while doing it now that it glides. I’ve really enjoyed the new laser.
Now for the progress, The biggest difference I’ve noticed is my bikini line. This month, I didn’t have to shave on the sides at all. The hair is completely gone! Woo-hoo! We’re finally getting there!! I did have to shave a bit off the top, but I let it grow all month to see the progress, and its coming in really sparse. Almost there!
The underarm hair is almost completely gone as well! I have a tiny little bit that grows in the center of both underarms. I let it grow all month and it was hardly noticeable at all by the time I shaved it off last weekend to do my fourteenth laser treatment.
My leg hair is still coming in super patchy but the hair is so much lighter and the texture has completely changed. I went all month without shaving my legs and at the end of the month, when I felt them it felt like no hair was there but I could see some. I think its still going to be a little while before my leg hair is completely gone but the upper half of my legs are starting to look really bare. Improvement!
So once again, this is work and it takes a lonnnggg time! Next month I will have been doing this for a year! Oh yeah, with the new Tria, the directions say to use it twice a month for the first 6 months now. The old Tria said twice a month for the first 3, so had I been doing that, I would be much further along, I’m thinking of moving it up to twice a month this month to push this along. To be honest, I dread the weekend of the Tria, because it does take all day on that Saturday to do it ( since it runs for 30 mins and then has to charge for 2 hours). But the new Tria does run longer before the batter dies and charges a half hour faster than the old one, so I can pretty much get all my treatments in in one day now! Yay!
So my advice to anyone wanting to try laser hair removal, The Tria is a great product to use if you want to save money (The new Tria is only $400) and you want to do it in the privacy of your own home! Obviously its not as strong as office lasers, so the time to remove hair completely seems to be about doubled! If you are willing to put in the time and the effort than this is your gadget!
I’m so glad to finally see my efforts paying off! The bikini line and underarms are almost completely hair free! That feels mighty exhilarating indeed!
