It’s taken me a few years to grow my hair out, but since I’ve grown it out, I’m always looking for new fun hair accessories. I don’t always get creative with my hair and I have a hard time styling it in unique ways because I just don’t have the patience to sit there and play with my hair. So when I come across a unique accessory that does all the work for me, I’m beyond thrilled.

I recently got to try out
Whirl-a-Style’s pony Fashion Obsessed tail extender and 6″ ponytail elastics. First off, I pull my hair back a lot. I have dry, damaged hair, so I try to only wash it a few times a week, so you can bet that leaves me with some greasy, pull-back hair days. I go through a lot of elastics and because my hair is so dry and already damaged, you can bet the type of elastics I use is very important to me.
I recently switched to those elastics without the metal clasp so they won’t rip your hair out, but I’m still ripping my hair out constantly with those darn things. I use clips and barrettes but then my hair is too fine to stay in it, so it just slips out of it anyway. It’s really kind of been a no-win battle for me as you can see, well that is until I tried these amazing hair accessories from Whirl-a-Style.
The ponytail elastic is amazing. It comes in a set of three, and you clip the end into the other end, then put it in like a regular elastic. The grip from the rubber really holds your hair in place all day. You won’t get any slippage with these amazing little ponytail elastics! I only had to wrap mine around twice and it was a perfectly comfortable fit for the whole day. My hair gets heavy throughout the day too, so I really need an elastic that will hold my hair in place and this one does just the trick!
When it comes time to take it out, you just unclasp the one end of the elastic from the other and voila! It comes right out! No more pulling and tugging those elastics out, and no more ripping out hair!
I was completely won over by these ponytail elastics from Whirl-a-Style, and you can bet I will be throwing out all other elastics and only using these in the future! They are amazing, totally safe for your hair, and you will be relieved when it comes time to take it out at the end of the day, and you won’t be ripping out any hair with it!
Next up, I got to try out the ponytail extender. This cool little hair accessory helps give your hair some volume and gives the appearance of longer hair too!
This tool is super easy to use too, just place it in the hair ( I placed mine over the ponytail elastic for extra grip) and wrap the two elastics around the buttons, and thats it! Your hair extender is in place and will stay put for the day!
I had fun playing with this hair accessory and creating different looks. Here I used it as just a tie back for a super loose pony. I also did a high pony and used the extender to really give my hair some oomp as well as a unique, fun, flirty look!
I’ve been super impressed with both of these hair accessories from Whirl-a-Style and I can’t wait to try more from this amazing line!
