I’m a firm believer that a good serum can go a long way to help us achieve more youthful results we all tend to looking for. I recently reviewed Elite Serum Rx and had great results. See my Review HERE. This month I got to try out their DNA Lab Formulated Temple Viper Venom Serum specifically made to target lines and wrinkles around the eyes.

Luckily I don’t suffer from dark circles and bags around the eyes very often, since I’m lucky enough to get to work from home and can sleep in when I’ve had a sleepless night. Fortunately I didn’t have to test this serum out for that, but what I do have? Nasty crows feet that you can bet I’m anxious to hide whenever possible!
I’ve been using the DNA serum by SkinPro around my eyes for the last month or so, and have been pleasantly surprised and pleased with this serum! When I first applied this serum around my eyes the first night, I did notice that tightening almost immediately! The serum is very rapidly absorbed into the skin. In fact it only took a very minimal patting in for my skin to soak it up right away. Which is good for around the eyes anyway, since you don’t want to do any serious amount of rubbing. Just pat in with your ring finger gently a few times, and that’s all you will find you need using this product. I actually applied it to my hands just to try it out there, and again, I only had to rub my hands together like twice and the serum was completely soaked up by the skin – That is how incredibly lightweight this formula actually is! I love this because I hate applying anything heavy to my eyes and waking up the next morning with dry crusties around the eyes leftover from my eye product. You absolutely won’t have to worry about that happening when using DNA serum.
After using this product for the last month, the skin around my eyes feels tighter and yet softer and smoother too. I actually use it on my upper eyelids too as I have had bad luck in the gene pool when it comes to my eyes, and been unfortunately blessed with droopy eyelids. I feel like this is a great tightening eye serum to use there specifically to get a little lift of my upper eyelids.
As far as the fine lines and wrinkles go, I feel like this product packs such a powerful burst of hydration to the eyes, that my crows feet have seemed to me to be a bit less noticeable. I strongly believe hydration is key when it comes to minimizing the appearance of wrinkles. I know when I’ve used acne products in the past that dry out the skin to kill the bacteria, they make my skin look incredibly more wrinkled. I believe firmly that serums especially for around the eyes, are most effective for minimizing fine lines and wrinkles, when they are super hydrating. I love that this serum contains hyaluronic acid, as it is about the best moisturizing ingredient on the market right now. Not only that but the other powerful combination of proven effective ingredients used in this serum really seem to work amazingly together to give you incredibly hydrated skin around the eyes, as well as making them appear and feel much more youthful!
I’ve absolutely been impressed with this serum and feel like it has really helped my eyes appear much more youthful. My skin is radiant and brighter around the eyes. It feels softer and smoother, yet also more firm. And my crows feet appear to be less noticeable as well!
